It is the festival that only women take part in. There is fasting, praying, dancing and singing. They have fasting to wish for long life and prosperity of thier husbands. The unmarried girls also fast to have a handsome husband. It is the festival that is celebrated only in Nepal by nepalese. It is celebrated for three days. But now it is celebarted more than that. It is a colourful festival. All women put on red sari and many braclets on their wrists. They have a special food called Dar. The main festival is on the comming Saturday. All hindus woman will have fasting and and worship in the temple of God Mahadev.
